Flotation

Dissolved air flotation is one of the most efficient physicochemical methods of industrial wastewater treatment. The separation of liquid and solid phases by means of floating microbubbles is the base of the flotation process.

Suspended solids, grease, oils and petroleum derivatives are removed from wastewater during the flotation process; the concentration of BOD and COD is reduced.

Application of this technology allows reducing the load onto biological treatment facilities and reaching the maximum allowable concentration (MAC) for effluents discharge to the sewage in case of their absence.
