The ESMIL Industrial Group has received an order for the supply of equipment for mechanical and biological treatment at a wastewater treatment plant of Samarkand (138 000 m3/day).
The wastewater treatment plant is now undergoing the process of reconstruction as part of a project which is financed with the participation of credit funds from the International Development Association (IDA). The general contractor of the project is the division of the VEOLIA SADE JSC France.
At this stage of the reconstruction process the aeration systems, based on tubular aerators, will be supplied as well as equipment for primary and secondary clarifiers and several dozen slide gates. In 2015, as part of the first stage of the Samarkand WWTP reconstruction, some equipment has been already installed (a mechanical treatment facility based on ESMIL screens, etc.).
The equipment has proven itself well so the ESMIL Company was chosen as a main equipment supplier once more. The completion of the second stage of the reconstruction process will improve all the main treatment processes of the WWTP to reach high-quality standards for the effluent discharge and energy efficiency level.
