ESMIL completed another successful project in Italy.
Multi-Disc Screw Press MDQ-401C was installed at a dairy in Putignano Southern Italy in May 2019. The goal was to achieve the highest dry solids content in dewatered DAF-sludge.
ESMIL carried out the pilot testing onsite in Putignano last October in order to find the most profitable solution for the Customer. We found the optimal ratio of polymer dose and screw rotation speed and achieved 33% of dry solids in cake!
Six months of continuous operation of the dehydrator greatly exceeded the customer’s expectations proving the reliability and efficiency of the MDQ.
The project was implemented in close collaboration with our good Italian partner Italwisad.
