ESMIL Group is pleased to present a new bigger modification of Multi-disc Screw Press Dehydrators – MDQ-500. This model is able to handle with extremely high capacities. The productivity of one drum reaches 700 kgDS/h (1500 lbDS/h) for mixed municipal sludge, which gives a total capacity of 2800 kgDS/h (6000 lbDS/h) in case of a four-drum unit (which corresponds to approximately 80 m3/h (350 gpm)!
The MDQ Multi-disc Screw Press Dehydrators are recognized worldwide as a universal solution for sludge dewatering. They have proved to be easy-to-maintain equipment with high process efficiency even when using with challenging sludge (containing fats and oils, abrasive matters and fibrous inclusions, etc.), with minimum energy consumption and other operating costs. However, the existing model range was a limitation for using this machine as the main dewatering unit at large wastewater treatment plants due to insufficient capacity. Until now.
The new development of our engineers allows dewatering of various types of municipal and industrial sludge with high capacity and extremely low operating costs regarding electricity and rinsing water consumption. The reliable design of the machine and its special wear protection lets customers forget about replacing parts and assemblies for many years of operation. For instance, the screw crests are protected by overlaying them using patented Japanese technology, forming a 1.5 mm (0.06 in) thick protective layer; the stainless steel movable discs are at least 3 mm (0.12 in) thick giving MDQ ESMIL an advantage in durability over other solutions.
Reference: ESMIL Group has been producing multi-disc screw press dehydrators together by Japanese technology 2012. During this time, hundreds of MDQ units have been delivered to the countries of the European Union, CIS, North and South America, the Middle East, Southeast Asia constantly exceeding customers’ expectations.
