Between 21-23 May 2019 Esmil Prodeko-Ełk have taken part in 27th edition of the International Machinery and Equipment for Wastewater treatment fair WOD-KAN 2019 in Bydgoszcz, Poland
The fair in Bydgoszcz is one of the biggest trade events of this kind not only in Poland but also in the whole of East Europe. In 2019 there were over 350 manufacturers and around 10,000 specialist from the market.
This year 21 exhibitors came forward with their products and technologies for the competition. After the review of the applicants’ documentation the jury picked 10 companies for the final. All of them presented their equipment to the jury. The Industrial Group ESMIL received the GRAND PRIX award for their new mechanical screen – catenary bar screen.
It is worth noting that this is already a third GRAND PRIX Wod-Kan award received by our company. In earlier years the jury recognized ZGR construction for the radial settler (2004), and also the Multi-Disk Screw Press MDQ Esmil-Tsurumi (2013).
ESMILs’ production line has been extended with the catenary bar screen production at the end of 2018. This type of equipment is ideal for removing hard, large and medium-sized debris from wastewater. It differs from the other types of mechanical screens with its special construction which completely removes the problem of mechanism jamming. Last year we set up catenary bar screens at the waterworks companies within Poland and Ukraine including cities such as Olecko, Augustów, Kharkiv, Lviv and others.
