In the spring of 2020, tube air diffusers by Esmil were installed and put into operation at the Sandaoyuan municipal wastewater treatment plants in Chengdu, China. As of today, this type of equipment successfully operates on more than 60 wastewater treatment plants in China.
This delivery was carried out as a part of the second stage of new treatment facilities with a capacity of 12,500 m3/day. More and more water treatment services around the world are choosing Esmil tube aerators for biological treatment of both municipal and industrial wastewater. The main reasons for this choice are high equipment efficiency, reliability, low operating costs and fast mounting.
Biological wastewater treatment in aerotanks is one of the most important treatment stages. Faulty operation of aerators can lead to sludge decay and, as a result, to odor nuisance. The second hazard which water treatment services can encounter when choosing the wrong equipment is high operating costs. The aeration system consumes 50-90% of the total capacity of the treatment plants, and equipment that operates erratically only increases energy consumption without improving the cleaning efficiency.
The unique design of the Esmil Tube Air Diffusers provides a high level of oxygen saturation of waste water due to fine bubble aeration (with a bubble diameter of 2-3 mm). Esmil tube aerators do not clog and therefore do not require cleaning, they are resistant to aggressive media and mechanical damage. The experience of our clients shows that the service life of the equipment can reach 8 to 12 years.
