Despite the fact that 2022 turned out to be a difficult year for China due to the ongoing Covid pandemic for the third year in a row, last year we implemented there several new projects with Tube Air Diffusers APKV.
Esmil Tube Air Diffusers have proven themselves all over the world as highly reliable equipment with low power consumption and no need for service work. Every year, we produce several tens of thousands of meters of tubular aerators, which are successfully operated in many countries around the world. It is worth noting that during 9 years of activity in China, the Esmil Group implemented more than 70 facilities for the reconstruction and modernization of wastewater treatment facilities of municipal and industrial enterprises.
Last year, Esmil Tube air diffusers were put into operation in the south-eastern and north-eastern regions of China. For example, 1,632 r.m. were installed and put into operation on the third line of WWTP with a capacity of 50,000 m3/d in the city of Jixi, Heilongjiang province. Another project included 590 r.m. of Esmil tube air diffusers, that were put into operation at the WWTP of Hulan (productivity – 10,000 m3/d), one of the districts of Harbin city.
We remind that biological treatment is one of the most important stages for the correct operation of the treatment facilities as a whole. In case of incorrect operation of the equipment, there is a risk of poor mixing of the sludge, which leads to its stagnation. The second problem that operating organizations may face is high OPEX – a malfunctioning aeration system increases energy consumption and thus generates higher operating costs.

The unique design of Esmil Tube Air Diffusers allows to avoid these problems. Thanks to the small diameter of the bubbles (2-3 mm), the wastewater is effectively saturated with oxygen and mixed, which makes sludge stagnation impossible. Also, representatives of WWTP note the high adaptability of the system in terms of air supply regulation, which allows more accurate monitoring of oxygen needs. At the same time, Esmil aerators do not clog, therefore do not require stopping the operation of aeration tanks for cleaning. Esmil diffusers are also resistant to mechanical damage and aggressive environments, and they are characterized by very low energy consumption compared to other types of diffusers.
Also, our clients note the ease and simplicity of Esmil diffusers’ installation. Our tubular aerators are supplied complete with adjustable supports. It is also possible, at the request of the customer, to manufacture an aeration system with a lifting frame or adapt the layout of the aeration system to non-standard tanks (reactors).
